I used the upload tool, selected thumbnail with link, and dragged it into the “write post” box. Next, I want a larger thumbnail and for the text to wrap around the picture, and maybe have it on the right side.
I am resorting to HTML to create padding between the picture and the text. I used html styles to get a 40 px space to the right of the picture, but not on the left. I put a 10 px padding underneath, too. I hope I can figure a way to hard code this that…
Thanks to Pearsons Tubetorial I now have URLs that contain my postname. In the dashboard go to options then permalinks and select custom. In the box type /%postname%/ and click the lower right update button. I did not need to change my .htaccess. I could not figure how but I think it work without it.
